Quick PicklePickleball, from the kitchen to the boardroom.

About Quick Pickle

Pickleball has a media problem. The coverage follows the money: the tours, the franchises, the broadcast deals. But the money is not where the sport lives. It lives on public courts at 7am, in junior tournaments with folding chairs, in the group chat arguing about line calls. That is the part nobody covers. So we do.

Quick Pickle is a Tuesday morning briefing for people who play. Ten stories, one point of view, about five minutes. We track the money, the gear, the tours, and the fights over courts, then connect the dots on what it all means for regular players.

Here is the question behind everything we publish. Serious money is flowing into the professional ranks. Does any of it reach the courts, the juniors, and the leagues where the rest of us play? We follow the data honestly, even when the answer is uncomfortable. Especially then.

Our allegiance is simple. Quick Pickle is an advocate for the nonprofessional recreational player, regardless of age. The junior hunting for a tournament. The open play regular fighting for court time. The league player wondering why paddles cost what they do. The pro game gets plenty of coverage. We cover the foundation it stands on.

Who is this for? Anyone who plays. No rating required, no sponsor, no ranking. If you have ever waited for a court, argued a line call, or wondered what a new paddle rule means for the one in your bag, you are already one of us.

Quick Pickle is based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. We use the Carolinas as our testing ground for the whole sport. The innovations caused by national problems tend to show up here first. Reach us at info@quickpickle.co.

Welcome. See you Tuesday.
